Front Porch literary journal for Texas State University

The goal was to create a top-tier literary journal with a distinctly Texan name and feel (cow-punk Austin intellectual) that would attract quality submissions competitive with established, traditional print journals. The department wanted to promote the MFA program’s impressive roster of visiting writers, so we highlighted and archived them in the “Videos” link. The journal has since rebranded to Porter House Review and continues to attract prospective graduate students to Texas State who wish to gain editorial experience by working on the journal during their time there.
